Financial & Office Policies

It is our goal to provide you with the high quality treatments you need for a healthy smile that fits your budget. Your treatment plan will show a breakdown of all the specific fees that you will need to pay following your appointment, and we will inform you of the extra costs (if any) before your treatment when possible. To meet your needs, we offer many types of payment options. Our office accepts payments by cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards.

Affordable Financing Options

Don't let finances stand in the way of getting your perfect smile back! We understand paying for dental procedures is expensive, and in order to make your treatments more affordable we are pleased to offer Care Credit financing options with low monthly payments.  This finance plan allows you to pay for your treatment a little at a time in order for you to stay under your budget but still keep your smile healthy and beautiful!

Insurance Policy

Insurance is another way to help you afford dental treatments to keep your teeth healthy and up to date with cleanings. Our office is committed to help you use that dental insurance to its full potential and help you save with your insurance benefits as much as possible. Due to how every insurance policy varies, we can only estimate the total price of your treatment, in good faith, until we send the treatment plan off to insurance and they give us the amount for what they will cover.  Once we obtain the information from the insurance company, any amounts listed as patient responsibility will be billed to you. At that time we will bill your credit card on file or send a bill to your mailing address when we receive the information needed from your insurance company.
As a service to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for services and allow them 45 days to render payment. After 60 days, you are responsible for any unpaid balance for the treatment completed. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office during our working hours and our receptionists would love to help you with any of your concerns.
Our office accepts most of the commonly used dental insurances, but unfortunately, our office does not accept them all. The dental insurance that Dr. Bowser's office does accept is as follows:
  • Delta Dental
  • Met Life
  • United Concordia
  • U.C. - Chip
  • U.C. - SEC. Blue Freedom Blue
  • Guardian
  • Cigna
  • Humana
  • UPMC Delta Advantage
  • Aetna
  • United Health Care (Through Employer)

Office Policies

Our mission at this office is always to keep the patients happy and put their needs before anything else. We are fully committed to quality and excellence, personally and professionally. We also know that enjoying each other's company makes our office as a whole, happier, and a less stressful environment, for employees and our patients. Staying on schedule, and keeping our appointments as fast and effective as possible is important. How our time is used affects the amount of time each patient spends in our office. We would like to stay on schedule, and make our appointments for each and every patient progressive, productive, and keep our practice growing and successful.

When you schedule an appointment at our dental office, we reserve that time slot for you individually to talk to the Doctor and receive the proper treatment. Depending on the exact treatment you need your appointment time can vary anywhere from 15 minutes to two hours. It is important that you arrive on time to your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment in order for us to stay on schedule for our patients following.

Here at Dr. Bowser Cosmetic & Family Dentistry we value your time and schedule. We ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you will be unable to keep the time that has been reserved for you with our Hygienists, Assistants, or Dr. Bowser. Missed appointments cause a disruption in the day with both staff and other patients.
Your appointment time is reserved for you. We will make every effort to remind patients by telephone prior to the appointment, but please do not depend solely on this courtesy.
We request that if you must change an appointment, please give us  at least a 24-hour notice . This courtesy makes it possible to give your reserved appointment time to another patient in need.

Three late cancellations, failed appointments, or the combination of, for a family may result in dismissal from our practice. We understand that situations may arise which prevent proper notification for missing an appointment.
We appreciate your cooperation!
