Meet Our Dentists
Head Dentist
Dr. David R. Bowser III
Dr. David R. Bowser III is a proud graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences from Penn State University, where he consistently achieved Dean’s List honors. He continued his education at Temple University School of Dental Medicine, earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) and again distinguishing himself on the Dean’s List. During his time at Temple, Dr. Bowser also served as an Assistant Dental Instructor.
After graduation, Dr. Bowser began his career as an associate dentist in Bedford, Pennsylvania. In 2004, he took the next step in his professional journey by opening his own practice, which has proudly served the community since 2005.
Dedicated to providing the highest quality dental care, Dr. Bowser regularly pursues continuing education and stays current with the latest advancements in modern dentistry.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Bowser is an active member of his community. He serves his local church, Pine Grove, as Chairman of the Church Council, Trustee, and Treasurer. He is also passionate about supporting local youth through 4-H programs, sports sponsorships, and community fundraisers.
Dr. Bowser has been happily married for over 20 years and is the proud father of three children and one grandson. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, working on cars, driving trucks, farming, carpentry, and horseback riding.
Dentist
Dr. Nicholas Hyde
Dr. Nicholas Hyde is a 2015 graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, followed by a Master of Medical Science from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM). Continuing his education at LECOM, he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) in 2024.
Throughout his four years of clinical training, Dr. Hyde gained extensive hands-on experience through rotational programs in both Bradenton, Florida, and Erie, Pennsylvania. These experiences exposed him to a diverse range of patients and dental care needs, preparing him well for his career as an associate dentist at Dr. Bowser’s Family and Cosmetic Dentistry.
A Bedford County native, Dr. Hyde is excited to build his career in the community where he was raised. He enjoys participating in youth fundraisers, and speaking to children in local schools about dental health.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hyde enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, golfing with friends, and following his favorite Pittsburgh sports teams.
